Brett Salisbury
Before House of Salisbury, MORPH, EVE and GENTLEMAN’S CHOICE, Brett Salisbury had already spent part of his life inside two very different worlds: professional football and international fashion.
During the mid-1990s, while playing professional football in Europe, Salisbury began working as an international commercial model. His modeling career was based primarily in Milan, Italy, and Scandinavia, where he appeared in commercial campaigns for companies including Nokia, Nexxus Hair, Paulig and Laura Biagiotti.
The fashion record later gave that period a particularly notable historical marker. In 2012, L’Uomo Vogue included Salisbury at No. 15 in its feature, “The Top 25 Male Models Ever.”
That history gives GENTLEMAN’S CHOICE an unusual point of origin. The publication is being developed by someone who experienced international men's commercial fashion from within — not merely as an observer of the finished image, but as the person standing in it.
The result is not intended to reproduce the culture of an existing men's magazine. GENTLEMAN’S CHOICE takes its own position: a contemporary editorial world built around style, presence, discernment, fragrance, culture and choice.
The publication sits within the larger authored body of work of House of Salisbury , alongside MORPH, EVE, SLOAN and other cultural and commercial expressions.
